The Day
It’s always special filming anyone’s wedding, but when you are returning to the same house for Bridal preparations within the space of 4 months it sounds a bit odd. I promise it was anything but. In April I was lucky enough to film Elaine and John’s wedding, then in July I was returning for her sister Colette’s wedding to Shane at Horetown House.
Colette and Shane had plans to get married outside in the stunning gardens of Horetown House. But after a sudden downpour, everything was quickly and seamlessly moved inside. The ceremony took place in the beautiful conservatory area of the house. Some couples can get stressed when the weather doesn’t go to plan but I have to say in my experience you would be surprised as to how little difference it really makes and it certainly didn’t phase Colette or Shane. They were just so excited to get walking up that aisle, inside or outside.
They carefully planned every detail of the wedding. The room, the flowers, the cake…everything was just so suited to their personality. Colette and Shane were an absolute joy to work with on the day. They happiness on their faces throughout the day was something I won’t forget. It was a pleasure to be their wedding videographer.
What Colette & Shane had to say:
