Take a look at our Kilronan Castle outdoor wedding video. When Miranda and Shane told me about their Irish wedding at Kilronan Castle, I was so excited. Why? Because they were so excited. For context, Miranda and Shane both live in Australia. The couple met when Shane moved to Australia a couple of years ago. Kilronan Castle was an obvious choice for these two as they were looking for a venue that was both uniquely Irish and close to Shane’s home.

Miranda and her lovely bridesmaids (there was five 5 in each side of the bridal party) got ready in one of the stunning rooms of Kilronan Castle.

The Ceremony

Shane and Miranda were really keen on having an outdoor ceremony on the grounds of Kilronan Castle and thankfully the weather held up. Well just about. As soon as the ceremony wrapped up on the grounds of Kilronan Castle the first drop of rain fell and it didn’t stop for the rest of the day. The ceremony was full of poems and readings from their Irish and Australian friends and family.  If you are considering having your ceremony in here there are also some lovely rooms within the castle where it could be held.

On the day itself we worked alongside the very talented Elaine Lally who is based closeby in Roscommon. All 5 bridesmaids had their hair done by Redz and make up done by the amazing Lisa Ralph. The wonderful Late Nite Radio band kicked off the music on the night and performed an amazing version of The Greatest Showmans “A Million Dreams“
