Our Favorite Dublin Wedding Venues

Having a wedding in Dublin is uniquely different to having a wedding in other parts of Ireland. Many Dublin wedding venues are based within the city centre giving them a different feel for your typical Irish wedding. I personally love a city wedding. There is something very cool about seeing a couple who have just tied the knot walking through the hustle and bustle of Dublin.

Dublin City Wedding

Fallon and Byrne

Fallon and Byrne is a very popular wedding venue for people getting married in the city centre. The venue is synonymous with incredible food so you and your guests are sure to have a spectacular meal. Many people who hold their wedding at Fallon and Byrne tie the knot in nearby City Hall or in one of the many churches in the city centre. No wedding in the city centre is complete without a pint of the black stuff in The Stags head. Fallon and Byrne has to be one of our favorite Dublin wedding venues.

The Shelbourne

This venue needs little to no introduction. Smack bang in the middle of the city centre, The Shelbourne has so much to offer any couple looking to get married in Dublin. This iconic landmark screams elegance and luxury. One of the major benefits of a venue like The Shelbourne is the stunning rooms available. Having bridal/groom preparations in one of the suites of The Shelbourne would be my idea of heaven. The venue can cater for both small and large weddings. There are many different options available at The Shelbourne. You can see their wedding packages here.

The Radisson Blu – St Helens

The Radisson Blu offers something different from the venues mentioned previously. As this venue is located on the outskirts of Dublin City, it has much more of a country feel. The venue itself is surrounded by stunning gardens, ideal for the portrait session on your wedding day or an outdoor drinks reception. There are also a number of different function rooms throughout the venue. Like The Shelbourne, The Radisson Blu has different functions rooms for different weddings packages.

Luttrellstown Castle

Last but by no means least, Luttrellstown Castle. This venue is one of the most exquisite weddings venues, not only in Dublin but in all of Ireland. The venue is quite famous for one of Ireland’s most famous celebrity weddings, David and Victoria Beckham. This 567-acre private Estate, while close to the city centre, couldn’t be further from the hustle and bustle of Dublin. The Clubhouse is the main part of this 15th Century historic Castle where weddings are held. The venue is only a stones throw from The Phoenix Park on the north side of Dublin Find out more from their wedding brochure here.
