This is by no means an exhausted list of the best wedding entertainment but over the years I have been lucky enough to see some amazing performers. There are so many different types of entertainment available to couples these days so this list should help you. I have genuinely been blown away by some of the talent I have come across at weddings over the years. There are couple of entertainers who have really stuck out in my mind.
Andy James – Magician
I was absolutely amazed by Andy James when I watched him at a wedding recently in Langton’s in Kilkenny. He blew away the wedding guests with his work as he floated around the drinks reception just like any other guest. I promised myself I would book him for our own wedding if we got the chance (which we did). He is incredibly gifted so it’s no surprise he has won Entertainer of the Year a number of times. Viva Manila
Anyone who has witnessed Viva Manila at a wedding will never forget them. Its hard to explain why this wedding band are so good. You really need to see it to believe it. What I like about them is they go through the drinks reception entertaining guests in small groups so everyone gets a taste of the action. They are always able to perform any song any guest would like to hear. Literally any song! Viva Manila have a fantastic ability to set the party going long before people hit the dance floor. The Hit Machine Drummers
Another recommendation for best wedding entertainment would have to be The Hit Machine Drummers. Simply because they are just so unique at what they do. The group have an incredibly well choreographed drumming show which will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. The energy they bring to each performance will not be forgotten. Caricaturist Allan Cavanagh
I love when there is a caricaturist at a wedding simply because the guests always seem to find it great fun. One Caricaturist I really liked was Allan Cavanagh. Firstly I think he is really very talented but he is also a pleasure to work with. Another idea I personally love is Allan always custom makes each sheet for his couples so when your guests take the drawing home there is a little name and date of your wedding in the corner.
