The Millhouse Wedding Video
I was thrilled when Louise and Jamie first got in touch about their Millhouse Wedding. It was my first time shooting a wedding at The Millhouse. The Millhouse has a fantastic reputation and it really exceed all of my expectations. It is the perfect mix of old and new. The old industrial feel mixed with the new feel of the grounds of the house and Pavillon.
Louise got ready in nearby College Hill House which is a stunning house very close to the venue. Jamie got ready in Grangegeeth Inn which was only 5 minutes away. As you can see from the Millhouse House Wedding Video below it was the morning all the Rugby World Cup Semi Final. Tension was high as England took on New Zealand. As Jamie and his family were English it made it even more exciting. THANKFULLY, England won the match and everyone was in great spirits for the rest of the day.
Jamie and Louise opted for a first look which is something I just love doing with my couples. It is such a nice way to see each other for the first time. Their reaction was just amazing. If you are considering a first look make sure and coordinate it with your photographer and videographer. They then tied the knot in The Ceremony Room which is part of the old mill. Jamie and Louise also had a sparkler exit which is just something fun to have at the end of the formalities. It makes for some really great footage in your wedding film and photos. Louise and Jamie were really keen on trying to do things a little differently and it made it such a fun day to be a part of.
