Whether you want to tie the know in a Manor House or 5 Star Castle, Kildare offers wedding couples a huge amount of different wedding venues for your wedding Day. Kildare holds a very special place in our hearts when it comes wedding videography. We got our very first gig as a wedding videographer at The Cliff at Lyons in 2015. We really couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding venue to film our first wedding.
The Cliff at Lyons
The Cliff at Lyons is still one of our favourite wedding venues. The venue itself can cater for weddings of up to 200 people and can house up to 80 guests onsite. Your wedding guests can enjoy canapes after your ceremony in 7th-century courtyard, on the lawn or in The Mill. The Lyons Demesne is full of character with unique fountains and even a little waterfall on the grounds. By far my favourite part of The Cliff at Lyons is The Orangery. Completely surrounded by glass walls, The Orangery is the perfect part of the venue for a wedding ceremony.
Carton House
Carton House is one of Irelands most elegant and exquisite wedding venues. Carton House is known for its tasteful and regal interior. The venue itself is located on 1,100 acres of private parkland with an onsite golf course, swimming pool and tennis court your guests can make a mini holiday while visiting Carton House. If you are considering have a wedding of 100 guests or less, The Old Manor House is the perfect place for you and your guests to celebrate. The newly refurbished Carton Suite Ballroom is also available for venues of guests up to 300 people.
Barberstown Castle
Barberstown Castle in Straffan, Kildare offered the perfect location for these two to celebrate their marriage. The medieval grounds which are over 700 years old offered the perfect unique Irish wedding venue. They literally use a sword to cut the cake which is pretty cool.
